Harbor Country Cabins

Six tiny cabins sit together on one acre in Sawyer, Michigan, a short drive from Warren Dunes and the Lake Michigan shore. You book the whole property, so every cabin, porch and campfire is yours. No strangers, no shared walls.

Each cabin has two queen-size bunk beds, fresh linens and towels, a mini fridge and a ceiling fan. Cabins 2 and 6 add a twin bunk, which kids love. Every cabin has its own screened porch.

The cabins work best for groups of 6 - six couples or six families, about 12 to 20 people. They can sleep up to 28 when you need every spot in every bed.

Outside, there's a fire pit for s'mores and storytelling, picnic tables, a grill, open lawn for games and our own bocce court (free for guests). Guests share a full kitchen and 4 private bathrooms with showers on the backside of the main house, a few steps from the cabins. Across the street, Harbert Community Park has a dog run, volleyball court, playground, pond and covered pavilion you're welcome to use. For a large gathering there, please check with the Chikaming Township parks department.

Good to know: The cabins are rustic and seasonal, with no heat or air conditioning, and we're open May through October. Propane for the grill is provided; firewood isn't included, but we can source it for a small fee, just ask. Pets are welcome with no pet fees; please keep them on a leash, in a pen or on a tie-out, and never alone in a cabin. Gatherings of more than 30 people need our review before we accept the reservation. Our caretaker lives on the property during the season and is close by if you need anything.
